High-Throughput, Label-Free Fragment and Secondary Screening on the Epic® System
Thursday, April 16, 2009, 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET)
The Epic System is a new high-throughput, label-free detection platform with demonstrated utility for drug discovery in both biochemical and cell-based assay applications. Based on optical biosensor technology, the Epic System has the throughput and sensitivity required for performing fragment screens. Moreover, it is finding increasing applications in rapidly prosecuting hit lists from primary screens in the hit-to-lead process. Using a series of case studies, this webinar will show how the Epic System is being utilized for fragment screening and high-throughput secondary screening.
Speaker: Anthony G. Frutos, Ph.D

Tony has over 15 years of experience in label-free detection technologies and assays. He currently manages all assay and application development for the Corning ® Epic business. Tony holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in chemistry from Brigham Young University.
